What is Pilates?

Pilates is a movement system that strengthens the body while increasing flexibity and proper postural alignment.

Its fundamental principle is to engage core stabilizers – the deepest muscles of the abdomen, back and pelvis – while progressing through an exercise series of varied range and intensity.

Pilates may be practiced in private, duet, or group class sessions. Private sessions are 55 minutes and scheduled on an individual basis.

PRACTICE PILATES AT KINETIC AXIS

Pilates can be practiced in private sessions where there is one client with an instructor, in duet sessions where there are two clients per instructor, or in group classes of varying sizes depending on the type of class….


PRIVATE SESSIONS

1 session: $60 / studio owner $95 

10 sessions: $550 / studio owner $900

Practice Pilates with a friend! Kinetic Axis offers duet sessions where there are two clients per instructor, insuring a intimate experience focused on you & your partners needs.  

1 session $40 each client / $60 studio owner

10 sessions $350 each client / $550 studio owner

GROUP CLASSES

We offer Group Reformer classes, and Cardio Pilates Mat classes.

Class sizes are intentionally limited to ensure individual attention and focus on proper form.

Reformer

$35 per class/ 10 classes for $300

Pilates Reformers incorporate spring resistance into a full-body workout that increases strength, endurance, range of motion and muscle tone. Reformer classes are performed in a group setting of 3-5 people.

*All skill levels offered from beginner to advanced

Cardio Pilates Mat

$25 per class/ 10 classes for $200

Pilates mat exercises interspersed with squats, lunges, push-ups & weight training at a brisk cardio interval pace.

*Advanced level, prior Pilates experience required.

Created by Dr. Adam Bruene and based on DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular
Stabilization), NAF is a mat-based class that uses a progressive series
of exercises that recall developmental movement patterns of infants.
These movements neurologically stimulate the brain software we all have
to essentially ‘reboot’ our neuromuscular system to restore ideal
stabilization strategies and movement patterns.
